Animal extint (Javi Areitio)

The doedicurus was found in South America (Patagonia) and Southern North America. It lived in the ice ages, during the pleistocene. The family of doedicurus is Glyptodontidae and the specie is D. clavicaudatus. It likes the grandfather of armadillo.

Doedicurus is the mesure has 1,5 metres and the longitud is 3,6 metres. This animal had a shell, and the end of his tail had an special “tool” for defences of depredadors, for example smilodon. Some studies think that the male use this tool to fight about the land and the female.

Doedicurus was an hervibor and it lived in forest or grasslands.

Tasmanian Wolf or Thylacine, Thylacinus cynocephalus.

The Tasmanian Wolf is not a wolf, are relative of canguro because it has a pouch and are relative with zebra or with the tiger because it has a striped back.

The Tasmanian Wolf was the most carnivorous marsupial. It was born in the continent of Australia, Tasmania and New Guinea, there is thought that become extinct in the 20th century. It was the last member of its genus, the Thylacinus.

Tasmanian Wolf extinct principally for the hunt but also it is possible that it has been for some illness, the introduction of dogs or that the humans beings were invading his habitat.

THE WOLLY MAMMOTH:

THE WOLLY MAMMOTH:

Wolly mammoths were animals of the mammoths family that were similar that the elephants.

The most population lived in North America and Eurasia, but they were extinct at the end of the last Ice Age.

Like their modern relatives (the elephants) mammoths were quite large and would probably normally weight in the region of six to eight tonnes, but exceptionally large males weight twelve tonnes.

Mammoths probably had a gestation period of twenty two months.

ROGER DOMINGO E1E

the mammoth (lucas garcia dumail)

The woolly mammoth was the last species of the genus. Most populations of the woolly mammoth in North America and Eurasia died out at the end of the last Ice age. Until recently, it was generally assumed that the last woolly mammoths vanished from Europe and Southern Siberia about 10,000 BC, but new findings show that some were still present there about 8,000 BC. Only slightly later, the woolly mammoths also disappeared from continental Northern Siberia.Woolly mammoths as well as columbian mamoths disappeared from the North American continent at the end of the ice age.

The life of my grandparents

My grandparents lived in a small village in the Basque Country

My grandparents didn’t have electricity and didn’t have running water.

In the night illuminated with candle or oil lamp, and during the day illuminated for daylight.

They didn’t have heating but they got warm with chimneys.

Before, washing machine didn't exist and they washed by hand.

Neither existed cars and they were transported by cart taken by horses.

They didn’t have electrical appliances and neither had phone, computers and television.

Usually, men worked out of house and woman inside of house. For cooking they used firewood and the medicines were very elementary.

In my opinion, life was harder than now.

The live of my grandparents

My grandparents lived in a samall vilage, in the Pyrenees, near Tremp.

Their house was a big farmhouse.

Near the house there was a fountain and a forest.
They had a farmyard for the sheep, for the pigs and another for the donkeys and the mules. Also they had a tractor, and they still preserve.

When they were young they went to school walking, they moved in general on foot or when the travels were very long they went by train.

In the summer my grandfather went to the field to cut the crop.

They had a fireplace and they didn’t use gas.

When they were small they didn’t have television, and when they got older they buought a television with black and white and without remote control.

Our grandparents had a more difficult life than us.

THE LIVE AT MY GRANDPARENTS' TIME (ROGER DOMINGO E1E)

THE LIVE IN MY GRANPARENTS’ TIME:

At my grandparents time, people lived in little houses without running water and without electric light.

For illuminate the houses, people used chandeliers, candles and oil lamps; and they washed the clothes manually.

It was a hard live, because people didn’t have: washing machines, dishwashers, lamps, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, heating, phones, etc…

They also didn’t have entertainments gadgets like computers, consoles, etc…and they had rudimentary toys.

There were very few cars and people went walking or with horse cars.

Usually, women worked like at home and men worked in the fields.

In a really short time, our civilization has evolutioned and now, we have a lot of technology: YV, computers, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, dish washers, electric light, corrent water…

The costums of my grandmother (Lucas Garcia Dumail)

The customs of my grandmother

In the old house of my grandmother there wasn’t: a vacumm cleaner, a computer, a television and the heater wasn’t elecrtic the hot air came for the fireplace.

Survible was more dificult than now beacause is his time there was the second world war and the bombing was very dangerous.

Also the run water did not always work and the water was sometimes pollut. The costums of my grandmother they change more.

Finish.

Climate Change

Climate Change

CLimAtE ChAnGe

I learn a lot of thinks about the climate, the green house, etc.

The fuels that we use most are the coal, the gas and the oil.

These fuels are one of the causes that provoke the climate changing.

A Green House it’s a house of glass that have a lot of hod, inside and plant group up.

The cause of this disaster is that the people consume a lot of waste. And the consequences are:

-In the world will make a lot of hot.

-A lot of species extinct, like the polar bear, the orangutan...

-A lot of people have cancer of skin.

-The level of the sea augment because the polar artic will melt.

I thing that everybody collaborate to save the climate change, we can save the ours planet.

WE MUST, WE MUSTN’T AND WE CAN:

-We must recycle, the all of the things that we have at our grasp, for example the plastics, the papers, boxes, cans, pens, bottles, glass, wrappers ,appliance, etc.

-We must using the minimum of possible energy.

-We mustn’t throwing things at the ground.

-We mustn’t wasting water.

-We can use renewable energies, go walking or with bike, when you smoke you do not throw the cigarette on the ground.

-We can move through the public transport, to keep on walking or with bicycle nowhere in taking the car or the motorbike.

Most of Shakur’s songs are about growing up amid violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, problems in society and conflicts with other rappers. Shakur became the target of lawsuits and experienced other legal problems. He was later shot five times and robbed in the lobby of a recording studio in New York City. Following the event, Shakur grew suspicious that other figures in the rap industry had prior knowledge of the incident and did not warn him; the controversy helped spark the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry. Shakur was later convicted of sexual abuse. After serving eleven months of his sentence he was released from prison on an appeal financed by Marion "Suge" Knight, the CEO of Death Row Records. In exchange for Suge’s assistance, Shakur agreed to release three albums under the Death Row label.

The land warms up increase each day produced by the human activities. Machines, cars, etc are producers of CO2.

All this things are creates the greenhouse effect.

The high temperatures would provoke the thaw of the Poles. This would provoke that the planet would have more surface of sea and less of land and this will be nice for the pinguins and fish but no good for people. In some  cities like London, New Orleans and Bangkok the level of see will increase a lot.

As the world warms, nasty diseases like malaria are starting to spread because the changing climate favours the mosquito that carries the disease.

What we can do?

·        We must: Go in bicycle or travel by public transport.

·        We mustn’t: Abuse the energy

·        We can: Open  the windows instead use the air condition.

BY: JAVI ARIETIO

YES WE CAN (save our planet)

hotting up, greenhouse effect...

The earth’s climate seems to be heating up, and the reasons seems to be you people and your machines.

Burning them releases the carbon they contained back into the air as carbon dioxide, CO2.

Almost all machines use oil, gas or coal, all of them produce pollution. It’s this gas wich seems to be main cause of the trouble.

What happens when you go into a greenhouse on a sunny day?

the glass in the greenhouse traps the heat from the sun. This gas carbon dioxide does the same in the earth’s atmosphere.

Cuses and concequences:

the thing that bothers me is that the ice of the poles is melting.

The weather change: hurracanes will become wore poureful, desrts will increase.

(People who use lots of fuel and create a lot of CO2 think the climate changing is not really, because they want to continue with out worring for our planet)

To protect the planet:

WE MUSTWE MUSTN’TWE CAN
Walk or ride our bikeuse car or pollutiontransport, they are not necessaryreduce pollution

turn the neating down in winter, is you’re cold dress more clother

use thermostat on air orditioningsave a lot of energy
